About this artwork

Warum wir es ausgewählt haben

Was uns anzog, war die Disziplin der Komposition: Die Pflanze ist sorgfältig beobachtet, aber die Seite hat dennoch Atmosphäre. Wir haben es für einen Raum ausgewählt, der Farbe mit Struktur wünscht – über einem Schreibtisch, neben einem Lesesessel oder als Teil einer gesammelten Wand.

Über den Künstler und das Werk

Blumenstudie von Vergissmeinnicht von unbekanntem Künstler (ca. 1885–1915). Material: Türkis, Diamanten, Bergkristall, vergoldetes Silber.

Quelle und Provenienz

Originalwerk im Besitz des Cleveland Museum of Art. Das Werk wird unter einer CC0-Bezeichnung durch die Open-Access-Sammlung des Cleveland Museum of Art zur Verfügung gestellt. Dieser Druck wird im Rahmen des Kunstprojekts "Museum of Imagined Worlds" mit Sitz in Toronto hergestellt.
