About the artist & work
The Four Dead Ravens by Henri Charles Guérard French, 1846-1897 (c. 1888). Medium: Drypoint and plate tone in black on cream laid paper. Its close-observed detail rewards looking in, whether displayed alone or as part of a collected wall.
